2025 Ford Expedition
The 2025 Ford Expedition has received a makeover for the new year, with its entire lineup revised and improved. Notably, the design has been refreshed, but most importantly, significant technological enhancements have been made. Its exterior features a redesigned grille and modernized headlights, giving it a bolder and more refined look. Inside, new high-end materials and an improved digital interface are intended to enhance comfort and ergonomics.
Powertrain
The 2025 Ford Expedition retains its 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine but with adjustments that optimize its performance and fuel efficiency. The base version develops 380 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, while the higher trims reach up to 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft. A new calibration of the 10-speed automatic transmission improves responsiveness and smoothness of gear shifts. The off-road-focused Timberline version benefits from a raised suspension and a limited-slip rear differential.
Capabilities
Thanks to its reinforced chassis and new suspensions, the 2025 Ford Expedition can tow up to 9,300 pounds with the HD Towing Package. The cargo space is even more modular, with easier-to-fold seats and a maximum volume of over 3,426 litres. New intelligent storage options make organizing luggage and equipment easier. A foldable table and ambient lighting around the vehicle also transform your Expedition into a true entertainment centre for camping.
Technologies
The 2025 Expedition benefits from the new SYNC 4 system, now integrated into a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen on higher trims. It is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features enhanced connectivity via FordPass Connect. Ford's Co-Pilot360, the onboard safety suite, has also evolved, now including advanced parking assistance and Blue Cruise semi-autonomous highway driving system, which allows hands-free driving while keeping your eyes on the road.
Comfort
The interior of the 2025 Ford Expedition has been redesigned with more refined materials and even more ergonomic seats. The higher trims offer perforated leather upholstery, massaging front seats, and customizable ambient lighting. A new B&O audio system with 22 speakers guarantees an immersive sound experience, while the rear multimedia screen allows passengers to enjoy superior entertainment quality. It can accommodate up to 8 passengers, depending on the version, in maximum comfort. A screen available in the rear seats allows occupants to access navigation and entertainment directly from their seat.
